Working with a chaplain on the ground in Ukraine, we have been able to be part of an exciting project to produce and distribute weekly grocery boxes to people in need. Each box has enough staples to feed a family of 4 for a week and costs about $15 to produce and deliver. What makes this project so unique is that all the food in the boxes is sourced from local farmers and businesses, which reduces transportation time, keeps costs low, and supports the Ukrainian economy.
