The war in Ukraine has caused the worst humanitarian crisis of the 21st century. As of July 2023, more than 6.2 million Ukrainians had fled their homeland for refuge in other countries. Another 5.1 million people are internally displaced within Ukraine. Together, these numbers represent about a quarter of the pre-war population of the country and half of all Ukraine’s children.

In the midst of the devastation, God has granted Calvary Chapel, other churches and organizations, and an extensive network of chaplains on the ground in Ukraine some incredible opportunities to be His hands and feet to millions of suffering people. Here at Bridge UA, we see ourselves as a bridge connecting the resources of our friends and partners in the West with the greatest needs of Ukrainians, both in Ukraine and across Europe.

As followers of Jesus, our greatest desire is that refugees would come to know God as their Father who loves them more than they could ever imagine, and that they would take their place as his sons and daughters. We are working to mobilize and equip European and Ukrainian believers to partner with us to reach these hurting people.

We invite you to partner with us in making a difference that will last for eternity. We have a number of current projects, and you can get involved by praying, giving, and volunteering in Europe.

"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd… therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” -Matthew 9:36-38
